Explanatory Notes
CHES courses at 2000 and above level as included in the Major programme requirements will be included in the calculation of Major GPA for honours classification.
Students are assigned to one of the streams based on language assessment upon admission, subject to the approval of the Programme Director.
Any CHES courses counted towards the fulfillment of one of the above listed requirements cannot be counted towards the fulfillment of any other requirements specified in the study scheme.
All CLCP courses taken to fulfill this Major programme requirement cannot be counted towards the fulfillment of the University Core requirements.
Subject to the approval of the Programme Director, students fluent in Putonghua can fulfill this requirement by taking Cantonese (CLCC) courses.
Students plan to enroll in CHES3402 must submit applications for approval by a faculty member and the Programme Director.
