Explanatory Notes
PHIL1110 counted as Faculty package units only.
PHIL courses at 2000 and above level will be included in the calculation of Major GPA for honours classification.
Students should obtain Grade “C-” or above in each of the courses of PHIL1110 and 1310. Otherwise, they are required to repeat the course(s). The repeat of the course(s) will not, however, affect the normal sequence of students’ selection of courses. Students who cannot meet the Grade “C-” requirement in any one of the courses mentioned above after two attempts will be required to withdraw from the University.
Exemption of units may be granted to students given permission to take two minor programmes. The Department will consider each application on a case-by-case basis.
